How can you tell what's what and who to trust??
Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting has complied a list of questions to ask when you are evaluating a news source. In print, you can look at the publisher and find out what types of books are printed at the publishing house, who is the author or editor, and whether they have any questionable affiliations. Online resources have the same information available in their "About" or "Who we are" pages. If you can't find this information, don't trust the sources.
With so much information communicated digitally and through the internet it is important to understand digital literacy. This means not just understanding HOW a device works but understanding HOW to evaluate the information that is being shared.
