Citing Primary Sources

Quick and Dirty MLA Guide

Helpful Hint: Citations are not as intimidating as you might think, once you write enough of them it will be second nature. You will be using citations throughout your college and maybe professional career so getting them down now is a good idea.

The attached PDFs are a great example of MLA and APA formatted papers with different types of resources cited in the bibliography. (they look so good!!)

Web Sources with No Author- a quick tip!

Use a Citation Generator

Use ZoteroBib or EasyBib to create your citations.

NOTE: People are Smart, Computers are Stupid.

Helpful as they are, these programs can only output as much information as you give them. It is always best to get familiar with your citation styles so you can know for sure that they are correct.
