Diogenes Laërtius(not to be confused with Diogenes of Sinope) was an biographer of Ancient Greek philosophers. His work, "Lives of Eminent Philosophers" contains biographies of a number of notable philosophers from the Greco-Roman world. He writes about their lives and their teachings. In some cases, his writing is the only evidence of their beliefs.
