This Guide was created to give Manor College students and overview of what we have in the Library and how those things work.
Our Mission Statement is:
Manor College Library and Learning Center function jointly as the Learning Commons, a flexible learning space that promotes intellectual curiosity, encourages collaborative learning and creativity, and fosters individual discovery. A place of contemporary student engagement, the Learning Commons offers quality resources and a dedicated staff to build confidence and ensure academic success. In conjunction with the Manor College Basilian mission, the Learning Commons provides inclusive access to information to increase knowledge and develop a deeper awareness and valuing of our global community.
The Learning Commons enables students to use our space and resources according to their academic needs. This includes print materials and electronic materials accessible on and off campus; reserve materials including study models; desktop and mobile computers; scanner, copier and printer access; individual and group study spaces. The Library offers professional staff to assist in research, resource evaluation, and tech support and the Learning Center offers one-on-one tutoring and assignment help.
